Desmo Care's manufacturing heritage traces back over 30 years to the early days of Turkey's medical device industry. What began as a focused operation producing basic surgical sutures has evolved into a vertically integrated, 20,000m² manufacturing facility producing the full spectrum of absorbable and non-absorbable sutures, surgical needles, and wound closure products.

- 1990s: SSM suture brand founded in 1993, producing surgical sutures for Turkey's domestic healthcare market
- 2000s: ISO 13485 certification achieved; CE marking obtained for European market access
- 2010s: Yüce Tıbbi acquired the SSM suture brand in 2013; major facility expansion to 20,000m²; exports to a growing number of international markets
- 2020s: Desmo Care international brand launched; product portfolio expanded; distribution network reaches markets worldwide
